Reeses + Banana + Bread = YUM

I'm a sucker for Banana Bread...

What better combination than Reeses, bananas, & bread! Delicious! I used the below recipe and substituted the chocolate chips for left over Christmas Reeses. I also only had one egg in the fridge, but it turned out just fine!

The whole loaf was gone in less than 24 hrs. I didn't eat it all... I shared!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (Use Reeses instead)
+ Add chopped walnuts on top & bake!

Preparation:

Cream sugar and butter; beat in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and stir into the first mixture just until moistened Fold in chocolate chips until well incorporated. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Cover loosely with a tent of aluminum foil. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 30 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted tests done. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool banana bread completely before slicing.

  1. Yum!!! If you love banana bread, you should try this "banana bread snack cake"! I made it last week and loved it because it was so moist :)

  2. This sounds SO good! We're big banana bread makers over here too, but I've never tried putting Reeses in. I am definitely trying that one soon!
