Kellan Beckett | Newborn

Newborn Kellan Beckett is quite the adored little one. His mom and dad are dear friends of ours and it has been such a joy to see them become parents. I look forward to many baby play dates in the coming year!

20 Weeks | Baby Reyna

Hello baby bump!!! No more hiding; this little girl is popping out for the whole world to see. I knew the hiding was over when one of my patients randomly apologized for cursing in front of my baby. 

I'm thrilled to be at the half way point in pregnancy but sure want to keep chugging along. Fear got the best of me these past few days as it was a more physically difficult week. Baby girl is sure sucking the life right out of me- but this is good. She's thriving and growing. And now, more than ever, I need to take care of her and myself.

I am doing my best to turn my fears over to the Lord and stay positive. Let me tell you, ignorance is most definitely bliss. Many times, I wish I didn't see and know so much about pregnancy and potential complications.

All things considered, I have little to complain about. I have a healthy baby girl living inside of me and a loving husband by my side. God is good. July will be here before we know it!

Baby girl is 10 inches long from head to heal, and weighs about 10.5 ounces! It blows my mind to see how much bigger she's getting each week and to feel her kicks getting stronger by the day. I love it. I love her. I feel so blessed to be her mama.

William Henry | Newborn

Meet William Henry. This handsome little fellow entered the world with a head full of hair and overwhelming cuteness. My dear friend, McKenzie, and her husband, Brian, sure made one beautiful little man. I visited their house a few days after he was born and was able to catch a few photos. I look forward to seeing little Billy grown up but sure am enjoying his darling newborn self.

Baby Girl's Nursery Inspiration Board

I put together this little board for some nursery inspiration. I'm hoping for more of a gender neutral feel except for a few pops of peach here and there or some wall art. Though I like a little pink, I'm certainly not a fan of tons. Especially not baby pink. Anything we can use for future children that I sure hope we are blessed with, the better! 

We've had a navy and white rug for quite a while along with a crib and the little rocker. The only remaining big things are a dresser and comfy chair (which we hope to find on Craigslist).  

A good friend suggested that a nursery be done by 28 weeks before you start feeling more crummy in the third trimester. That will be my rough goal, though we don't anticipate needing to do too much. Simple and clean is key!
